The Firemaker Almanac is something of an experiment. I'm thinking about it as an exercise in public journaling ... a way to think out loud about all my brainfire. I've always loved the concept of grimoires and almanacs, so there will also be those elements as well. A sort of temporal record of stuff, loosely structured, mostly vibes, and guided by my curiosity.

I'm also doing this out of a sense of nostalgia for the early internet, before all the current enshittification. It's a way to use the internet MY WAY and distance myself from the current model while still participating.

I don't have any intention for an audience. I have no expectation that anyone will be interested in anything I have to say. If for some reason I DO get an audience, I'll revisit my approach but for now, no tiers, no newsletters, no selling anything.
